In 2019, Medest invested in and built a smart manufacturing facility in Hengshui, Hebei.
Covering 83 mu and equipped with industry-leading advanced machinery, it is the largest nursing bed production base in China, annually producing 120,000 sets of nursing beds, wheelchairs, and smart anti-bedsore mats.
Currently, the company has accumulated over 100 national patent applications and has obtained several prestigious certifications, including ISO 13485 Medical Device Quality System Certification, ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification, High-Tech Enterprise Certification, as well as FDA and CE approvals. In 2021, the company was honored as a Smart Health & Elderly Care Demonstration Enterprise, officially approved by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, National Health Commission, and Ministry of Civil Affairs. It is also recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise and a specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative SME by the science and technology authorities.
